Happy Lunar New Year!

'Xin nian kuai le' to all my friends out there.. hmm.. i should be pretty on time with the greetings and wishes via my sms right?

Anyway, there goes the 'chu yi' [1st day of the cny] of the lunar new year.. and the whole day was spent at my uncle's place... haha.. fyi.. my new year was never about travelling.. coz all my relatives will gather at my uncle's place where my granny is every year.. but i love big crowds.. doesn't differ alot from our usual Sunday family gatherings.. just that we've got MORE ppl coming and for the small kids and also the big kids, we get ang baos! Haha.. I realise i still love ang baos.. more of wad is in it lar.. :X

Well.. as usual my uncle's place became a mini gambling den when we all gather to have a game.. i played for a little while till the lion dance troops came.. haha.. can't recall if we had that the last yr... but it was really fun seeing those little kids covering their ears with their palms.. the expression on their face i cannot describe.. haha.. just so cute lar..

Hmm.. no matter how grown up a person may be, i guess they still fear the 'lion' in them ba.. maybe that was part of childhood when you're tinking wad that creature was.. and not just the 'lion'.. mascots too! So thats why i screamed when the 'lion' got too near.. hahaha... quite 'diu lian'.. coz i've got my little niece and nephews laughing at mi lor! (-_-')

Thank god ive got the little ones to keep mi occupied and entertained today.. shall post the pic of those cute little sweetie pies once i get them from Min.. :)

As for the reunion dinner for a big family like ours, it was really normal. Coz we will never get to have the chance to have steamboat on the same table.. haha.. and i guess we never had one as far as i can remember..

So we slack for maybe an hour or two, before the cousin gang decides to go out for the regular singing session whenever we are bored.. so we called and checked the rates.. well.. they really hike up the price lar.. for 7 of us.. its about 200 odd lor.. and if we were to pay for that, i tink we are dums dums lar.. live carrots to be chopped.. haha... so we ended up watching a movie for $8.50.. :)

We caught 'Norbit'.. quite a funny comedy although most of the scenes i find more towards 'disgusting' than amusing.. it just make all of us go..'OMG!!!'.. haha.. if you are free and needed a good laugh, you may consider catching that.. :p

Tml will be another day at another uncle's place.. and we really need to plan something else to do tml!! I dun wanna rot sitting down there.. hahaha...
